Seth was amazing at the bar he was patient and gave details on all food on the menu. Alexis made an amazing cocktail so pretty And taste amazing. great service great food I would definitely would come again
Awesome food, ok service. Loved the salad and the artichoke dip. Messed up the order for kids they got fires instead of mashed potatoes. Took forever for them to fix it. Filet mignon and ribeye were good.
My husband and I celebrated our 13th Anniversary. I made a reservation an hour before going and were seated quickly. Our waiter was attentive and great. All of the food was served hot and was exquisite. We had not eaten at Cattlemen's for probably 5 years due to a not so pleasant experience. This restaurant was excellent. The steak was perfect to our specifications. The bread hot and soft with a crispy outer crust. I had a raspberry lemon drop and it was so delicious! Thank you for a wonderful dinner!
I have been eating at Cattlemen's my whole life and I love it so much! The blue cheese dressing is like crack! The prime rib here is top notch. I hope this place never ever closes! Lifelong customer here! Pro tip, if it's busy, the bar is open seating and you can order dinner in there!
Our second dinner here. Our first was more than 10 years ago for a steak and rib meal. This time was to try out Cattlemen's Happy Hour. We sat ourselves on a table for two in the saloon area. Our server got our waters and took our orders from the HH menu a short while after. For drinks, I got the Diily red wine deal and Pendleton Sour. My wife opted for the Horseshoe Margarita and Raspberry Lemon Drop. These libations would score a 5 of 5 for us. For bites, we got the Beef Kabob, Garlic Fries, Prime Rib Tacos, Baby Back Pork Ribs and Lamb Lollipops. A bit underwhelmed with the dry meats except for the succulent skewered sirloin on the kabobs. Cattlemen's made a great excuse for us to spend time during happy hour saloon specials from 4-6 p.m. & 9-10 p.m. It's good that business is doing great judging by the foot traffic coming in during a week night.
I love Cattlemens for its reasonable prices and generous portions. Happy Hour happens 2x a day EVERY DAY in the Saloon: 4-6 PM & 9-10 PM! I'm still working my way through the Happy Hour menu, but so far, I like the $10 LAMB LOLLIPOPS and $6 GARLIC FRIES. The tender lamb lollipops aren't that big. I think I could eat 2 orders of it, but 1 order is likely the healthy meal portion size of meat. I didn't care for the $6 Loaded Potato Skins, which were too overbaked by the end of the day. I was lukewarm about the $8 Prime Rib Tacos. I am not big on tortillas and like to have access to lots of salsa or aioli, which is not the case here. I ended up using the steak sauce on the table. The thin slices of prime rib are good. I want to try the $8 Baby Back Pork Ribs and $10 Beef Kabob with its 3 different cubes of steak one day. The Saloon Sandwiches menu looks enticing as well: $17.99 Prime Rib French Dip with Au Jus OR $15.99 1/2 Pound Smoky BBQ Bacon Burger or Classic Cheeseburger. Sandwiches come with French fries. I love the $27.99 PETE'S SPECIAL classic 10 oz SIRLOIN STEAK dinner! You get warm sourdough bread with butter, ALL YOU CAN EAT SALAD (my favorite!), baked beans, and your choice of side: Rice, Baked Potato, Mashed Potatoes, or Veggie Medley as of 3/27/24. For a $2.99 upgrade, you could choose the signature Rustler Spud (twice baked potato), Sweet Potato, or Garlic Fries. It was so much food that I had leftovers to bring home. You could just order the AYCE SALAD for $11.99. I often think I could be content and healthier with just that. Meant to be shared with the table, the salad comes with red onions, cucumber, tomatoes, and croutons in a large stainless steel bowl. You choose and mix in the salad dressing yourself. The Beef and Bean Chili comes with pineapple chunks! Unusual, but still edible. You can get a cup for $4.99. The Beef & Reef or Surf & Turf Combos seem affordable. You can also Create Your Own Combo, adding your favorite seafood to any dinner entree: Lobster Tail, Dungeness Crab, or Shrimp (Grilled, Scampi, Fried, or Bacon Wrapped). There are also shrimp appetizers and shrimp dinner entrees that seem good value. "The Chopper" with 1 pound of ground sirloin, 2 cheeses, bacon, and mushrooms sounds meaty and filling. I'd be interested in trying the Seafood, Chicken, & Pasta entrees someday: Grilled Salmon, 10 Jumbo Shrimp Your Way, Porcini Mushroom Ravioli, or Dakota Chicken with its bacon, mushrooms, melted cheddar cheese, and honey mustard sauce. All sound yummy to me. The dessert menu has variety: Warm Chocolate Chip Cookie with Vanilla Ice Cream, Brownie Sundae, Triple Chocolate Cake, New York Cheesecake, Carrot Cake, and Deep Fried Apple Pie. I'm most interested in the chocolate cake, carrot cake, and deep fried apple pie. Huge list of wines, cocktails, and dessert cocktails. Service is polite, attentive, and generous. Despite going to the later Happy Hour, I am never rushed out. Ask and you will often receive. I am allowed to pick anywhere I'd like to sit in the saloon, which has bar counter seats, booth seats, and regular tables. I like the dark wooden country western theme carried throughout the restaurant (even the restrooms!). There is a party or banquet room for private events. Catering packages are available. You can also do takeout on custom cut raw steaks! Here are all the menus for you to explore: https://www.cattlemens.com/menu/downloads/ A kid 12 and under can become a Junior Deputy and get a free meal by buying a $18.99 Jr. Deputy T-shirt and wearing it to the restaurant each visit. The Cattlemens Steak & Barbecue Sauce doesn't seem too unhealthy. 2 Tablespoons is 1 g of fat, 150 mg of sodium, and 10 g of carbs. I assume it's available for purchase. I'm sure there's something to suit everyone, so mosey on down to Cattlemens!
